San Francisco Baby!

So, I'm back...from doing nothing really just the same old day to day life and once again I am being a horrible blogger. I have a lot to check up with. So here goes...
Brian and I actually got out of town about a month ago. I surprised him for his birthday to a trip to San Francisco. He seriously didn't have any idea about it except that we were going somewhere. The night before my mom came and got Savanah so that part was all taken care of, Thanks mom and dad! I woke him up at 5am and off to the airport we went. We flew out of the Mesa Gateway Airport, which was so convenient, with Allegient Airlines. A very nice airlines may I say but since they are still so small they are VERY strict with check-in time and everything. We flew into Stockton,CA where my uncle picked us up. We stayed with him and his family. They are the greatest! On Friday we just hung out and went to this awesome sushi place! I wish they had that restaurant here! Saturday was a big trip to San Francisco. It took about an hour to get there from my uncle's house. We really enjoyed shopping in China Town, eating out at Pier 39 and just people watching. They have the "bush man" at Pier 39 and if you have never seen him you have to. This man sits behind a bush that he is holding and scares the living daylights out of people who don't pay any attention to him. SO funny! Then there was the "tin man". This guy was covered from head to toe in silver. He would do these cool break dancing moves when people would tip him and then he would stay completely still there after, crazy I know I couldn't believe how still he was he looked like a statue. We got to see Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge, which were both pretty amazing. The only thing we didn't get to do that I wanted to do was the Oakland Temple. We'll have to do that another time. Sunday we went to my Aunt Gracy's work. She works at this brand new casino in Jackson, CA and she just started working there so her hours are crazy. So we went to see her. Since she is a concierge she compt everything for us (lobster dinner, comedy show and even some money to gamble with) No I didn't win big! She got off work around 8pm and then she took us back to her house. We got to meet her "boyfriend", super nice guy and we sat and talked and just hung out! I love my Aunt Gracy she is such a fun and outgoing person. I am so glad to have her as an aunt! I'm just glad she never beat up Brian! (Long inside story) We really enjoyed ourselves and hopefully we get to do this again sometime. I was ready to get home and see my little girl though. Savanah had a fun time as well. My sister and her husband came into town that weekend so Savanah got the best of both worlds. Thanks again to everyone who kept this a secret from Brian and made this trip a success!
